Derick Dupré was born in New York City and grew up in Connecticut, and has since sojourned in Paris, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and other places here and abroad. He is the author of Frail Shrines, a volume of short fictions. His work is featured in publications including NOONNew York TyrantThe CollagistEyeshotSleepingfish, and Hobart. He was nominated for a Pushcart Prize and was a finalist for the Lamar York Prize for Fiction. He is a founding editor of The White Elephant. Currently, he is based in Bisbee, AZ and working on a book of fiction.
